The issue of energy efficiency is more important than ever before. Plan your new sauna wisely for the future with a bemberg energy system.

Plan your new sauna wisely for the future with a bemberg energy system.

Our contribution to environmentally friendly energy efficiency also means a wallet-friendly side effect for you. We specifically help you to drastically reduce your energy costs when using a Bemberg sauna or sauna area with our heating systems. So it's not just about the design of a sauna but also about the running costs, i.e. energy consumption and energy purchasing.

Example calculation assuming the following data and premises, which you must definitely adapt to your real circumstances, numbers and facts. Our example calculation is based exclusively on Bemberg sauna heaters and can be used for the solid wood sauna (Nordi) and the element sauna (Challenger):

Hybrid as an energetic rear wall system compared to a classic sauna heater

Example sauna: 200 x 200 x 207 cm high

assumed premises:

250 days per year x 6 hours of use = 1,500 hours, kW - electricity costs (current invoices and kW registration/surcharge)

EUR 0.25 per kW; (KW - consumption not kW - power consumption)

kW - consumption advantage + and energy purchasing advantage (electricity compared to condensing heating technology, solar or geothermal energy (average EUR 0.06) is approx. 50% more efficient.

The total energy costs per year therefore amount to:

1. Consumption p.a. with classic bemberg stainless steel double jacket oven Power consumption 9 KW EUR 4,832.00

2. Consumption p.a.  with the bemberg Energetik airACTIVE system power consumption only xy  KW EUR 3,382.00

3. Consumption p.a.  with the bemberg Energetik rear wall heating system power consumption only xy  KW EUR 3,382.00

The hybrid system creates a further purchasing advantage p.a., because up to 50% of a Finnish sauna is purchased at €0.06 instead of €0.25, which creates a further economic advantage of EUR 880.00 p.a.

The lifespan of a private sauna was set at at least 20 years. The savings when using a single cabin for these 10 years are at least theoretically unchanged energy costs xy €

As a rule of thumb you can use the following: purchase price plus maintenance costs and the running costs of conventional systems for 10 years are relatively the same. The additional costs for a bemberg energy efficiency system in the example given here are between xy and xy €. This means that the system has already paid for itself in a third of the assumed service life. The economic advantage is therefore xy €

In addition to the economic advantages, we ask you to consider the following decision points:

1. The even climate with our heating systems.

2. The operating time of your sauna and the real energy costs.

3. The possibility of extending the factory warranty up to 30 years.

4. Your contribution to our environment and the current energy crisis.

The following is assumed as a basis for comparison for all examples below:

Example: modular sauna, 200 x 200 x 200 cm = 8 cubic meters

- Well-insulated sauna body with an all-glass door and an additional glass window of approx. 1m²

Assumptions:

- Room temperature in which the sauna is installed is on average + 20 ° C

- Sauna use temperature + 80 ° C (Finnish sauna)

- Usage: 2 x weekly, 2 hours each spread over the entire calendar year

- Door opening frequencies 16 x per sauna session

Annual electricity consumption of a sauna with a conventional heater:

- classic standofen MAX connectionpower 9 kW without clocked taxung

Average consumption per sauna season: 1,664 kWh x current ⌀ electricity price €0.30 per kWh =€499.20 annual Eenergy consumption costs

Amortization calculation for the rear wall oven

bemberg rear wall heater 9 kW compared to a conventional electric sauna heater with tubular heaters (heating rods)

Average consumption per sauna season: 1,300 kWh x current ⌀ electricity price €0.30 per kWh =€390.00 annual energy consumption costs

Savings in this example per year: €109.20

Additional investment cost: €543.00

bemberg rear wall oven for Finnish sauna use €2,138.00 compared to €1,595.00 for the MAX oven

minus the energy savings calculated above €109.20 p.a

= amortization period 4.97 years
